Lately, I've been relistening to as much of the UtaPri discography as I still happen to have on my phone. It's been a couple years since I last wrestled with my music collection, so I don't remember exactly what's in there.

It's great to suddenly be reminded of my favorite bits of songs I haven't heard in a while, and today the song that jumped out was DOUBLE WISH. That last chorus, when Ren and Masato suddenly start singing that bit in unison, instead of trading off? Chills. Every time.

Nothing is scarier then when you’re walking up to home and see a courier JUST leaving… thankfully signature wasn’t required so he just left the parcel.

Hehe ~yall are not allowed to judge my taste 😂 I like galge and bishoujo genre. It’s no secret gkakvka I got so many~ light novels too, theyre a bit hard to read ngl but I’ll do my best!

Asking for all the fiber artists here, are you aware of the term "frogging" in fiber arts like knitting and crochet to mean "ripping out your work?" It's a pun on the sound a frog makes being ribbit because when you frog something you riiiip it rip it rippit. A lot of fiber artists themselves are unaware of this and their reactions to this knowledge range from exasperated sighs to utter delight.

Ala Ebtekar, Thirty-Six Views of the Moon (from the San Jose Museum of Art)

Cyanotype prints on found book pages exposed to moonlight.

Thirty-six Views of the Moon is a collection of night exposures, left from dusk till dawn and exposed by moonlight on book pages from texts referencing the moon and night sky spanning the last ten centuries. Working with photographic negatives of the Moon from the Lick Observatory archives in Northern California and treating each book page with Potassium ferricyanide and Ammonium ferric citrate (cyanotype) to make the surface of the page light-sensitive, the pages are then exposed overnight by the UV-light emitted by the moon. The work takes its cue from a poem by Omar Khayyam that imagines us as the objects of the Moon’s omnipresent gaze and, in response, produces a vignette of windows on the Moon that abstract the typical celestial gaze, merging galaxy with ground to collapse space and time. Novedades musicales: julio 2024

Hubo un tiempo en el que los meses de julio y agosto eran un erial en cuanto a novedades musicales se refiere, pero eso ya pasó a la historia. Por lo menos en lo que concierne al tema de canciones. En el mundo de los álbumes sí que respeta bastante más la temporada estival. El caso es que, aquí estamos, a 22 de julio y con una recopilación formada por 65 temas. Además, de bandas tan conocidas…

Okay but does Peri KNOW that Dev has a robotic leg when he shows up? Something about the fact that Peri's wand is a cane and the fact that Dev could have kept his leg and just had a cane for the rest of his life instead tickles my brain.

I mean he doesn't know immediately, he wasn't like briefed or anything, but he basically lives in Dev's house so he definitely finds out. Peri doesn't comment on or react to it all though really, there's no reason for him to think anything of it, plenty of people have missing limbs, a lot of people are born without them, it doesn't necessarily mean anything sinister happened. He had no reason to pry or ask and I think Peri's lack of reaction to it helped Dev feel a bit more comfortable in his skin. (Not by much but.. a little bit.)
